Rit Liquid Dye Golden Yellow

Rit liquid dye is a universal, non-toxic dye. This dye gives vibrant, glossy colors to old and new fabrics/clothing such as cotton, linen, wool, and silk.

Use Rit ColorStay Dye Fixative immediately after dyeing to set the color. This reduces color bleeding and fading.

Dyeing Methods:

Stovetop Method: For the most vibrant color (or if dyeing nylon), we recommend using this method. (Beware of fire!)

Washing Machine Method: To dye large items, we recommend using this method, although we understand if you're hesitant. We guarantee that Rit will not discolor metal parts. The product has been used in washing machines for decades.

Bucket Method: This method is only for small-scale projects, such as T-shirts, sweaters, hats, etc.

Please note: always do a test first. Colors can always turn out differently than you'd like and are partly determined by the existing color and material of the fabric.
