Rit Liquid Dye Violet

Rit liquid dye is a universal, non-toxic dye. This dye gives vibrant, shiny colours to old and new fabrics/clothing such as cotton, linen, wool and silk.

1 bottle is enough for approximately 1kg of fabric (Double the dye for 100% Polyester)

Synthetic fibres are difficult to dye and require the stovetop method, where the fabric is dyed in a pot of hot water on the stove. Other methods do not provide the right conditions and can cause stains or prevent the dye from adhering.
Whether you want to dye a T-shirt or curtains, always start by choosing the right dye for the fabric. Check the wash label to determine the fibre content.

Please note that larger pieces that do not fit in a pan unfortunately cannot be dyed.

The dye is non-toxic and is perfect for home use.

We recommend always trying out dyeing projects first with a test piece of fabric, as the composition of existing dye in the fabric, fabric types, heat and other conditions can affect the result. Always read the instructions carefully before use.
