The Rit DyeMore series is a very high-quality dye specifically made for synthetic fabrics such as acrylic, polyester, acetate, and blends containing these fabrics. For garments with more than 35% synthetic fibers, we recommend using this dye.
1 bottle is enough for approximately 1kg of fabric (Double the dye for 100% Polyester)
Synthetic fibers are difficult to dye and require the stovetop method, where the fabric is dyed in a pot of hot water on the stove. Other methods do not provide the right conditions and can cause stains or prevent the dye from adhering.
Whether you want to dye a T-shirt or curtains, always start by choosing the right dye for the fabric. Check the care label to determine the fiber content.
Please note that larger pieces that do not fit in a pot unfortunately cannot be dyed.
The dye is non-toxic and is perfect for home use.
