The DyeMore series from Rit is a high-quality dye specifically designed for synthetic fabrics such as acrylic, polyester, acetate, and blends containing these fabrics. For garments with more than 35% synthetic fibers, we recommend using this dye.
1 bottle is sufficient for approximately 1kg of fabric (Double the dye for 100% Polyester)
Synthetic fibers are difficult to dye and require the stovetop method, where the fabric is dyed in a pot of hot water on the stove. Other methods do not provide the correct conditions and can cause stains or prevent the dye from adhering.
Whether you want to dye a T-shirt or curtains, always start by choosing the right dye for the fabric. Check the care label to determine the fiber content.
Please note that larger items that do not fit in a pot unfortunately cannot be dyed.
The dye is non-toxic and perfect for home use.
