FIMO® Soft oven-bake polymer clay is particularly soft and easy to model. The colours can be mixed. Your creative projects can be baked in a domestic oven at 110°C for 30 minutes.

FIMO® Soft clay is a soft and easy-to-work clay available in many beautiful bright colours. Use the clay to make beads for jewellery, miniatures, or other fun figures. As an added touch, you can attach a magnet to the back! Do not bake the clay for longer or at a higher temperature, and do not use a microwave. Free from chemical plasticizers. Tip: protect your work surface with plastic and wash your hands thoroughly after working with FIMO® Soft. It's handy to have baby wipes available so you can clean your hands when changing colours.

Properties and use:
  • Our collection of FIMO modelling clay consists of the product lines Soft, Effect, and Kids
  • FIMO can be cured in the oven at 110 °C. The maximum temperature is 130 °C. (Exception: FIMO leather-effect must cure for 30 minutes at 130 °C!)
  • If you have used techniques that require multiple curing processes, you can put FIMO elements that have already been cured back into the oven
  • All oven-hardening FIMO types can be mixed with each other.
  • The cured modelling clay can be varnished with special FIMO varnish or coloured with suitable markers, or painted with suitable, plasticizer-resistant acrylic and oil paints
  • You can sand and polish FIMO
  • Holes for FIMO jewellery and beads can be made with a needle before curing or with a hand drill after curing
  • Broken FIMO parts can easily be reattached with a two-component adhesive
  • If you want to create curved FIMO elements, you can use oven-safe molds over which you lay the material
  • FIMO should only be washed by hand and not in the dishwasher because dishwasher detergent is too aggressive and can damage the material
  • We advise wrapping FIMO in aluminium foil or PE bags and storing it in a cool, dry place. This prevents opened FIMO blocks from getting dirty or dusty. Avoid contact with polystyrene, PVC, and styrofoam
  • FIMO in its packaging that has become too hard can be softened again by kneading it with the Mix Quick kneading aid
