Place the plaster gauze in water. Wait a few seconds and it is ready for use. Can be cut into smaller pieces or used directly from the roll. Can be used on plastic, glass, wire mesh, cardboard, papier-mâché, etc. When used on skin, apply petroleum jelly first.
How to use plaster gauze? Wear gloves and place a plastic or waxed cloth on the table. First cut the gauze into smaller pieces so that it is ready for use before you start working. Place the wet plaster gauze on top of metal, glass, polystyrene or mesh and smooth it out with your fingers, the more layers of gauze, the more robust. Let the plaster gauze dry until the next day, when you can paint and varnish the dry plaster gauze. Please note: The wet plaster gauze softens cardboard and other absorbent materials, so cover them with painter's tape beforehand.
