This polyester cord is incredibly hard-wearing and durable. It has many similarities to silk cord, making it a favourite for jewellery and macramé projects. You can braid and tie the beads or string them onto the cord. For example, if you use the cord to make jewellery with beads, you can make the process even easier. Simply burn the end of the string and roll it between two fingers to form a sharp point. Or dip the end in glue, roll it to a point, and let the glue dry. This seals the end and makes it stiff, preventing it from fraying when you string the beads.
