Liquid latex that you can use for many different purposes. Liquid latex is a practical material that can be used in various projects. Here are a few applications:.
General use: Apply the latex milk with a brush or spatula, then clean it with warm water and soap.
Bonding: Apply glue to the surfaces you want to bond. Assemble the parts and let them dry for a day. Textiles bonded with latex can be machine washed on a gentle cycle, e.g., with wool detergent
Making a mold: Grease or spray the part of the object you want to 'copy' into a mold with oil, so that the latex mold can be removed at the end. Then, using a brush, apply latex to the piece and let it dry. Repeat these two steps until the rubber mold is approximately 1 mm thick, then remove the mold.
Anti-slip surfaces: Apply the liquid latex as dots or stripes and let it dry.
Please note: We recommend working in a well-ventilated area, as there is some ammonia in the liquid latex.
Liquid latex is also known as raw latex, rubber milk, and cast rubber. It is one substance but has different names. Because latex is actually a natural material tapped from rubber trees, many people call it rubber milk. It comes out of the trees in liquid form, but it is the added ammonia in the rubber milk that keeps it liquid. Latex is easy to use, but we do not recommend children use it. If you are an adult, you can easily use liquid latex, provided there is good ventilation where you work.
