Wood Burning Gel Medium 90ml

Wood burning gel is a heat-activated, non-toxic gel that allows you to accurately and effortlessly burn designs onto various surfaces.

How to use?
 
1. Surface preparation:
Ensure the wood is untreated (not varnished or painted); otherwise, the gel will not work properly. 

2. Application:
Apply the gel with a brush to the areas you want to burn. 

3. Penetration:
Allow the gel to penetrate the wood for 15–20 minutes. The harder the wood, the longer the penetration time.

4. Heating / Wood burning:
Use a heat gun with a temperature of at least 200 °C. 
Hold the heat gun approximately 2–5 cm away from the wood. 
Move evenly over the gel until the wood color darkens (burned effect). 

5. Finishing:
Gently wipe away the black residue with a dry cloth. 
You can then finish the wood with mineral oil or varnish to protect it and enhance its appearance. 

Tips:
• Use stencils if you want to create precise designs. 
• Heat sources like a hairdryer usually don't work well — a real heat gun provides the right heat.
